On Wednesday, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a high-level plenary discussion on "Sustainable and people-centered green transition”. “Building green economic capacity includes developing a financial system to support green industries, with the circular economy playing a central role, and placing green technology and innovation at the heart of efforts to improve resource efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions,” said Mr. Chinh.
“It also involves creating a framework for green international cooperation and multi-sector, multi-stakeholder linkages. International collaboration and cross-sectoral partnerships between governments, businesses, and social organizations are essential to optimize the sharing of experience, leverage shared resources, and facilitate technology transfer and financial support,” he noted.
To promote a sustainable and inclusive green transition process, Vietnam asked the P4G to continue to provide financial and technical support to encourage all economic sectors to contribute to realizing a green future for all.
Delegates shared the news that international cooperation and multilateralism are the key to addressing global challenges, harnessing complementary strengths, promoting inclusive development, and paving the way toward a green and sustainable future to ensure that no one is left behind.
