(VOVworld) – 70 young army and public security officials were honored at a Sunday ceremony for their outstanding contributions in protecting national independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and ensuring national security and social order and safety.

One of the honorees, Trinh Dinh Thanh of the Artillery School, Artillery Arm, of the Vietnam People’s Army, spoke at the ceremony: "I’m very lucky and proud that my efforts have been acknowledged and hope this will be just the start for my future work achievements. Officials like us are always ready to complete any tasks assigned with the highest sense of responsibility for contributing to national construction and defense and meriting the title “Uncle Ho’s soldiers”.
