(VOVworld) - More than 300 outstanding former youth volunteers will be honored in Hanoi next Thursday for helping people escape poverty. July 15 will mark the 62nd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s founding of the Association of Volunteer Youths. The ceremony will additionally honor enterprises, entrepreneurs, and sponsors who have supported the association’s activities over the years. Cù Văn Phiên, Vice Chair of the association, says ‘Following President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings, youth volunteers have participated in many programs to help their peers succeed in business and escape poverty’.
