He said that leaders from Brunei and Myanmar treasured Vietnam’s position and wanted to boost cooperation and exchanges of visits as well as people diplomacy to deepen mutual understanding and current cooperative mechanism. Brunei’s leaders wanted to increase Vietnamese rice exports and considered Vietnam an important partner in energy cooperation. Myanmar and Vietnam wished to raise bilateral trade revenue to half a billion dollars by 2015 and review the implementation of cooperation priorities. The leaders agreed to support each other in international fora, especially in the ASEAN and the United Nations.
