The exhibition entitled “Old Ports: From Indochina to the World” will be debuted on April 15 by the National Archives Center I of the Ministry of the Interior, at archives.org.vn and facebook.com/luutruquocgia1.
Organizers said many of the exhibited items will be made public for the first time.
The exhibition’s three parts are Seaport-Gateway for trade and penetration, Lighthouse-God's eye to watch the sea, and Maritime transport-Connecting horizons.
In the elaborately designed sea and island space, viewers will join the journey to Vietnam’s three regions of the North, Central and South to look back at the evolution of international gateways at sea.
