At a press conference in Tehran on Aug. 9, Iranian FM Mohammad-Javad Zarif (second, left) says the nuclear deal balanced the interests of all sides involved in the negotiations.

Zarif said in the deal, no side has imposed its will on the other side, adding that according to the recent UN security council resolution and based on the joint comprehensive plan of action (JCPOA), Iran will no longer be banned from cooperating with other countries on peaceful nuclear activities. Instead, countries are encouraged to interact with Iran in this regard.

Iran also will not be barred from pursuing missile programs except for a few limitations for a certain time.

The deal, valid for 10 years, says that Iran's nuclear program will no longer be on the agenda of the UN Security Council. Zarif noted that the agreement will benefit all sides.
