(VOVWORLD) - Government action program for the Party Politburo resolution on socio-economic development and national defense and security in the northern midland and mountain region until 2030 and vision to 2045 will be announced at a conference in Lao Cai next Saturday.

Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment told a press conference in Hanoi on Friday: 'The resolution maps out 17  tasks and 33 inter-regional projects for investment. The Prime Minister will assign ministries and sectors specific tasks to realize the Resolution whose ultimate goal is to promote comprehensive sustainable development, improve  living conditions for the people in the region, particularly those in the ethnic minority region."
