Kim told Lavrov that he hopes North Korea and the US will resolve their issues through dialogue and consultation in a phased manner, the Korean Central News Agency said.

Lavrov expressed full support for North Korea's commitment to denuclearization and said he hopes that the US-North Korea summit, originally scheduled on June 12 in Singapore, will be successful.
