The special South Korea-ASEAN summit will be held in the South Korean port city of Busan on November 25 and 26 to mark 30 years of South Korea-ASEAN relations.
The summit is expected to review the development of South Korea-ASEAN relations over the past 30 years and suggest a new vision for development in the next 30 years.
A senior South Korean official said the two-day summit in Busan may also involve Kim Jong-un, noting some ASEAN countries have already proposed inviting the North Korean leader to the summit.
