South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JSC) said it had detected two trajectories presumed to be North Korean artillery on Sunday evening. However, the JSC did not provide further details on the exact number of shells and the firing location. In a statement, the JSC said South Korea and the US are working closely and maintaining readiness to respond to North Korea.
