(VOVworld) - North Korea has created a new unit that can deploy a road-mobile intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), said the South Korean government on Sunday. The unit "KN-08 Brigade," named after the KN-08 missile, is a part of the Strategic Force that supervises all missiles in North Korea. The KN-08 was first revealed in April, 2012, during a military parade to celebrate the 100th birthday of North Korea’s founder Kim Il-sung. James Clapper, Director of US National Intelligence, said last week that North Korea “has already taken initial steps toward fielding the KN-08 missile which has a range of at least 10,000 km.
