In the Rodong Sinmun, the daily of the ruling party, the Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee published a white paper titled "Revelations on the black curtain of the tacit move by the US and Japan to extend the nuclear agreement."

The committee said the amount of plutonium that has so far been accumulated is 518 tons, and of them, Japan possesses 47 tons. With 47 tons of plutonium, it can produce some 7,800 nuclear bombs that are the same as the one that was dropped in Nagasaki in 1945.
