The North's main newspaper, the Rodong Sinmun, said the Academy of National Defence Science conducted the test for the final assessment of the launcher's capability. Kim expressed "great satisfaction" with the test results.

It is the 13th time this year that North Korea has carried out such a weapons test and the fourth time it has tested projectiles from the multiple rocket launcher.
