No new Covid-19 cases reported in Vietnam for three straight days

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam had gone three consecutive days without a new coronavirus case, keeping the country’s total of active cases at 67 by Sunday.

Of the 268 Covid-19 cases confirmed in Vietnam so far, 201 have been discharged.

20 of the remaining patients who are under treatment at 17 facilities across the country have tested negative at least once.

The latest Covid-19 case, confirmed Thursday morning, is a 16-year-old H’Mong ethnic minority girl from the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang that borders China.

More than 62,000 people are currently in quarantine nationwide.

The Covid-19 pandemic has spread to 210 countries and territories, killing more than 160,000 people.
