DUP leader Arlene Foster told a press conference in Belfast that her party was disappointed at the outcomes but would continue to search for a solution through the summer with the hopes of reaching an agreement later in the year.
Sinn Fein’s Stormont leader Michelle O’Neill claimed the UK Conservatives’ deal with the DUP was one of the main reasons that efforts to establish a new administration had floundered. She said Prime Minister Theresa May had set back decades of progress that had been achieved throughout the years.
