Hundreds of officers and soldiers from Division 324, local public security force and villagers worked continuously to help clear mud and clean Chi Khe Kindergarten. Ms. Quang Thi Thuy Hang, deputy principal of Chi Khe Kindergarten said: “Thanks to the attention of the local Party committees and authorities, and the joint efforts and support of many people, after four days, our school has become clean again. We are very happy.”

According to initial statistics, nearly 40 schools in Nghe An Province have been severely affected by heavy rains and floods, with 18 schools deeply inundated, said Nguyen Trong Hoan, Chief of Office of Nghe An province’s Department of Education and Training.
“The Nghe An education sector has issued a call for help. Schools have set up volunteer groups to provide aid to the hardest-hit areas. With the new academic year approaching, we hope to continue receiving assistance to resume teaching and learning as soon as possible,” said Hoan.
