Major Le Van Hien, Chief of Rada Station 625, was pleased to receive Tet wishes from the visitors. He said, “We treasure gifts brought to soldiers and people on the island, reflecting love an care from government and people onshore. We commit to safeguard the national sovereignty so that people could enjoy a happy Tet.”

Hon Doc was the last leg of the Tet trip by Naval Zone 5 officers and southern provincial leaders, who also visited five other islands, including Phu Quoc, Tho Chu, Hon Khoai, Hon Chuoi, and Nam Du.
