In an interview on Sunday prior to his visit to Turkey, Mr. Stoltenberg said NATO is willing to maintain a meaningful dialogue channel with Russia.

NATO suspended cooperation with Russia in 2014 over the Ukraine crisis. Tensions have accelerated after NATO imposed a sanction on the country in response to the poisoning of former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Britain.
