(VOVworld)- More than 10,000 volunteers from nearly 100 Vietnamese and foreign voluntary organizations and clubs participated in National Volunteer Day 2014 in Hanoi on Saturday. Under the theme “I Love Vietnam”, the festival is co-organized by Hanoi’s Youth Union, the Vietnamese Youths Association, National Voluntary Center, the UN in Vietnam, the Blood Transfusion and Hematology Institute, Hanoi Blood Donation Youths Association and Hanoi Voluntary Association. The organizers said that 3,000 volunteers are expected to donate blood within the program “Voluntary Hearts” and about 2,500 units of blood will be collected. Delegates attending the Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia Youth Cooperation Forum 2014 also participate in this event.
