The famous landmarks highlighted in the heritage journey include the Hoa Lu Citadel, Bai Dinh Pagoda, the Trang An Landscape Complex, the Thang Long Royal Citadel, the Ho Dynasty Citadel, and the Yen Tu Relics Complex.
Hundreds of events will be held across 24 provinces and cities nationwide.
The National Tourism Year 2020 will begin on Thursday with the Bai Dinh Pagoda festival.
