Addressing the launch ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung praised the effort of the Ministry of Science and Technology to establish the Fund, a crucial institution to accelerate national technological innovation through support for organizations and businesses.

He said: “Technological innovation is vital for Vietnamese businesses to improve competitiveness and boost the creation of new products and services to promote national competitiveness and meet the demand for national development and defense. The current globalization requires fierce competition for development. Countries with quick access to advanced technology to improve productivity and quality will develop rapidly and sustainably.”
