Speaking at the ceremony, Vietnamese General Consul to Macao, Nguyen Van Phong, recalled major achievements  in Vietnam’s foreign policy and international integration. He praised the Vietnamese community’s contributions to national development and called on them to do more for their homeland.

At a similar event in Maputo, Mozambique, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Van Trung hailed the significance of national reunification, especially in ensuring peace, unity and prosperity for Vietnam.
