(VOVworld)- The National Politics Truth Publishing House celebrated its 70^th founding anniversary on Saturday. Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong, former President Le Duc Anh, former President Tran Duc Luong and Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan attended the event.

In her address, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan praised the Publishing House’s development. She said:  “It’s necessary to publish guidance on theory and practices to guide Party members and the public to contribute to national construction and defense. The Publishing House needs to uphold its role in sustaining and expanding the ideological front of the Party and consult the Politburo and the Party Secretariat in mapping out policies, guidelines and plans”.

Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan urged the Publishing House to reform its operation and diversify its publications. Ms Doan said stressed the need to focus on publications and documents to serve the 12^th National Party Congress and upcoming elections of the National Assembly and Peoples’ Councils. To mark the occasion, the Vice President presented the Publishing House with the title Labor Hero.
