Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission of Communications and Education and Director of the Press Center, said this Congress will see 80 more delegates than in the previous Congress.

During the 9-day Congress, participants will review the implementation of the resolutions of the 12^th National Party Congress and evaluate 35 years of national reform, 30 years of implementing the 1991 Platform, 10 years of implementing the 2011 Platform, and the 10-year Socio-Economic Development Strategy 2011-2020. The Congress will set out the socio-economic development directions and tasks from 2021 to 2025, goals and orientations to 2030 and the national development vision to 2045. Participants will review the Party building work and the leadership of the 12^th Party Central Committee, determine the directions and tasks of Party building in the new term, and evaluate the implementation of the 12^th term’s Party Regulations and elect the 13^th Party Central Committee.
