The press briefing on the 7th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union

Themed “Democracy, Unity, Reform, Integration, Development”, the Congress will review results and work out key roles for the next tenure.

Nguyen Thi Hong Ly, VNFU Vice Chairwoman, told a press briefing Wednesday in Hanoi: "Farmers believe in the Party’s leadership and State policies. They have promoted the spirit of patriotism, self-reliance, hard work, creativity, and ambition. The rural areas have changed rapidly with benefit of improved infrastructure. Rural economy has shifted to industry and services. The environment has been improved and social order and security has been maintained.”
