The 3-day festival honors individuals and communities who have contributed to the preservation, practice, teaching, and promotion of Chau Van.
Chau Van singing is part of Mother Goddess worship, one of Vietnam’s traditional worshipping practices. It began during the Tran Dynasty in the 13th century in the northern province of Nam Dinh.
