National Assembly passes revised Law on Housing

(VOVWORLD) - Lawmakers on Monday approved the revised Housing Law at the ongoing year-end National Assembly session in Hanoi.

The Law stipulates that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) is responsible for investing in social housing projects to rent to workers, with a view to promote the role and responsibility of the organization in ensuring social security, improving the quality of life of workers, and attracting workers to trade unions.

The same day, the National Assembly also passed the revised Law on Water Resources and the Law on ID Card.
