National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan

Speaking at a review meeting of the National Assembly Office in Hanoi on Wednesday, Chairwoman Ngan called the office to go ahead with stronger reform and accelerate the e-National Assembly project to ensure the legislature’s effective operation. Ms. Ngan said: “Laws and disciplines must be strengthened in public affairs. Regulations must be amended in line with a project on public affairs culture approved recently by the Prime Minister. The National Assembly Office needs to strictly abide by the Party Central Committee’s Regulations on leaders’ responsibility for setting an example. Every leader no matter what position he or she holds must be exemplary, constantly improve themselves, and rally collective strength to accomplish tasks.”
