National Assembly deputies raise questions on pressing issues

(VOVworld) - National Assembly Q and A session will begin this Tuesday. During the 3-day session, the Ministers of Home Affairs, Agriculture and Rural Development, Information and Communications, the Chief Justice of the People’s Supreme Court and the Prime Minister will answer deputies’ queries.

(VOVworld) - National Assembly Q and A session will begin this Tuesday. During the 3-day session, the Ministers of Home Affairs, Agriculture and Rural Development, Information and Communications, the Chief Justice of the People’s Supreme Court and the Prime Minister will answer deputies’ queries. Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc comments on topics for the session: “The Minister of Information and Communications has received questions on state management of the press, cyber information and security. The Chief Justice of the People’s Supreme Court will talk about the quality of judgment and staff capacity building. The Prime Minister will have broad answers about socio-economic situation”.

Deputies have voiced concerns about the performance of public employees and healthcare policy. Bui Thi An is a deputy representing Hanoi: “The public services have to ensure efficient performance while efficient public employees should have their salaries raised. This requires a solution from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Decentralization in science and technology organizations must be promoted with the classification of state financed and self financed agencies.”

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will deliver a report on the implementation of National Assembly resolutions on Tuesday before the first question and answer session with Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development in the afternoon.
