(VOVworld) - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan arrived in New Delhi on Thursday to begin an official visit to India.

Meeting the Vietnamese Embassy staff and representatives of the local Vietnamese community, Madam Ngan said the Party and State always create favorable conditions for overseas Vietnamese to stabilize their lives, integrate into the host nation, and preserve national cultural characteristics.

She said she hopes the Vietnamese nationals will continue to foster friendship with India.

Madam Ngan praised the Vietnamese Embassy staff for boosting the bilateral friendship and multi-faceted cooperation, adding that the Party, State, and legislative body provide all possible support for Vietnam’s representative diplomatic offices abroad to fulfill their missions.
