The resolution sets the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to grow 6%, GDP per capita of 3,700 USD, the average consumer price index (CPI) of 4%, and the proportion of poor households (according to the multidimensional poverty line) to decrease by 1-1.5 percentage points.

The deputies also discussed the approval of the removal of Chu Ngoc Anh from the post of Minister of Science and Technology, and Le Minh Hung from the position of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.

Afterwards deputies examined the draft amended transportation law and the draft law on road traffic order and safety.
