Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung said that in face of an ever-changing landscape domestically and internationally, Vietnam has turned towards a green economy and a green growth strategy to tap its potential, and seize opportunities to become a pioneer in green growth for post-pandemic recovery.

Vietnam has studied the new situation from international experience and learned to draft a national action plan on green growth, to be submitted to the Prime Minister in April.

Minister Dung told the conference, “This action plan set out by the green growth strategy, requires a greater sense of responsibility and coordination of ministries, sectors, localities, businesses, and all people to reach our goal of net zero emission.”
