During its 18th session, the Standing Committee decided on the National Master Plan for the period of 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050 and approved the draft Law on Medical Examination and Treatment (amended).
Deputies summarized and evaluated the implementation of Resolution No. 30 on the first session of the 15th National Assembly, decided on the continued implementation of a number of policies on the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic, and decided on some financial, budget and human resource issues.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue urged for urgent tasks to be fulfilled as the second extraordinary meeting will take place prior to the Lunar New Year.
“The national master plan is the most important thing to be done and must top the agenda of the upcoming meeting. In such a context, the in-person meeting requires personnel work and focus should be placed on leadership and direction,” Mr. Hue said.
