Addressing the closing ceremony, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said that the committee reviewed outcomes of the fourth session and discussed preparation for the NA’s next sitting. The Committee also assessed the results of external activities in 2017 and approved a plan for 2018, while brainstorming ideas on foreign relations and international cooperation programmes for some NA agencies. The committee’s members adopted a resolution approving the appointment of ambassadors to various countries in the 2017-2020 period, and the Vietnamese ambassador at the United Nations. The NA Standing Committee also adopted a number of other resolutions and reports.
