NA Standing Committee wraps up 5th session

(VOVWORLD) - Lawmakers looked into five major matters and passed two draft resolutions during the two-day working session of the National Assembly Standing Committee, which concluded on Tuesday, according to NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

The committee urged the Government to prepare a dossier proposing amendments and supplements to the 2014 Social Insurance Law to institutionalise the Party’s guidelines on the reform of social insurance policies in a timely fashion.

The committee also reviewed results of the recent year-end session of the National Assembly and discussed preparations for the extraordinary and regular meetings of the legislature.
