NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said the review of the third session assessed its achievements, objective, and reasons, and suggested ways to improve future National Assembly sessions.

“The fourth meeting is expected to take place in October. As usual, the meeting will focus on legislative work, reviewing and approving legislative projects, and giving opinions for the first time on new law projects,” said Mr. Hue.

He added, “Preparations for the year-end meeting requires coordination with the Government in drafting and verification so that the coming session will be on schedule and maximally effective.”

On Monday afternoon, the deputies voted in favor of a resolution on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the NA’s Committee for Deputy Eligibility.
