(VOVworld)- The National Assembly Standing Committee on Wednesday discussed revisions to the laws on taxes. They agreed with the National Assembly and Government’s reports on revisions to the Laws on Corporate Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Personal Income Tax and Natural Resources Tax. They agreed to eliminate personal income taxes on casino winners and ship owners who provide direct services for offshore fishing. They also discussed the Long Thanh International Airport Project stressing the need to identify the project’s strategic importance and impact on Vietnam’s aviation sector as well as specific mechanisms to be submitted to the National Assembly for approval.
