This is the first visit to Uruguay by a Vietnamese leader on the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties. The visit demonstrates Vietnam’s respect and wish to strengthen its fine relation and economic and trade cooperation with Latin American countries including Uruguay.
The visit reflects the Vietnamese National Assembly’s role at multilateral parliamentary forums and its support for the government’s economic recovery effort.
