National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue received Vice President of Boeing Company and President of Boeing International Michael Arthur

At a meeting with Vice President of Boeing Company and President of Boeing International Michael Arthur in Hanoi on Thursday, Chairman Hue expressed his hope that Boeing will expand its representative office in Vietnam and praised the company’s plan to set up R&D and Technical Assistance Centers here, which will cover technical training activities and aircraft maintenance. Hue said he believes that Vietnam will become a transit hub for Boeing to develop its strategic location.

At the meeting

Mr. Michael Arthur said Vietnam is the first country that Boeing has opened its representative office since COVID-19. He affirmed the company’s plan to expand its assistance to help Vietnam with training, improving aviation infrastructure, cooperating with aviation certificate granting agencies, and expanding supply chains.
