Speaking at the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Hue said that as many countries have reopened their economies after securing vaccines, Vietnam should focus on ensuring macroeconomic stability, quickly adopt a plan for growth and public investment disbursement, and accelerate the vaccine strategy with a specific roadmap to soon achieve herd immunity, creating an important basis for catching up with the global economy.

The National Assembly Chairman suggested that the Committee on Social Affairs continue to update the implementation of National Assembly and Government Resolutions via local People's Councils. He asked that the Government soon summarize and evaluate the relief packages for those affected by Covid-19, including the non-business units and the informal economic sector, to report to the National Assembly.
