(VOVworld)- National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and the Vietnamese delegation on Friday visited the Omni Parker House Hotel in Boston where President Ho Chi Minh used to work from 1911 to 1913 while he was seeking ways for national salvation.

There, Mr. Hung met with American experts on Vietnam and overseas Vietnamese in Boston. Hung thanked the hotel managers for preserving the President Ho Chi Minh relic at the hotel. At a meeting with Vietnamese students and intellectuals in Massachusetts, the National Assembly Chairman expressed his hope that the young Vietnamese generation in Boston would contribute to national development and bilateral ties between Vietnam and the US.

On the occasion, Professor Kevin Bowen introduced a number of photos of Boston during the time when President Ho Chi Minh worked and lived there. Painter David Thomas introduced some of paintings depicting President Ho Chi Minh.

Earlier, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung visited Massachusetts hospital. While in Boston, Chairman Hung visited old city hall and the Supreme Court of Massachusetts. While visiting the Massachusetts Supreme Court, Chairman Hung discussed with local judges court and legal procedures and the judicial system in Massachusetts. He also introduced Vietnam’s legal system and legal procedures.
