(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung received visiting President of Korea’s Yongin municipal Council, Lee Woo-hyun, on Friday in Hanoi.

Mr. Hung expressed his belief that the visit by the Korean delegation would help promote strategic partnership between the two countries especially in the areas of economics, culture and education. Chairman Hung affirmed Vietnam’s consistent policy of continuously deepening Vietnam and the Republic of Korea’s strategic partnership cooperation. He added Vietnam welcomed Korean investors and wished to create the best possible conditions for them to invest and do business in Vietnam, especially in Son Tay district and some outskirt areas of Hanoi. President Lee Woo Hyun said the close ties between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea would provide a firm foundation for cooperation in investment and trade. Mr. Lee Woo Hyun committed himself to exerting efforts to boost cooperation with Vietnam’s localities. He called on more Korean businesses to invest in Vietnam, especially in the fields of technology and consumer goods production.
