He praised the presence of leading German businesses in Vietnam and considered it a foundation to foster strategic partnership between the two countries. He said that Vietnam aims to improve business climate and facilitate German long term investment in Vietnam while sharing experience in areas of Germany potential, including healthcare, energy and chemicals. The same day, Chairman Hung visited the Vietnamese General Consul in Frankfurt and met local Vietnamese community representatives. He hailed the national unity policy of encouraging overseas Vietnamese to have a stable life in the host country while turning their hearts and minds to the homeland. He asked diplomats and overseas Vietnamese to actively participate in the amendment of the 1992 Constitution in line with people’s aspiration and international integration.
