The agreement was reached during their talks after the welcoming ceremony in Hanoi on Monday. Both sides stressed the need to deepen cooperation in areas such as science-technology, education-training, environmental resources, health, and culture-tourism.
Emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the two National Assemblies, the two leaders agreed to increase the exchange of delegations of high-ranking leaders of the National Assembly, specialized committees and Friendship Parliamentarians' Groups.
They reached consensus on the main theme of the sixth legislative seminar between their National Assemblies, expected to take place in the first half of 2026, and pledged continued coordination and mutual support at regional and international parliamentary forums.

At the talks, the two sides affirmed the importance of ensuring peace, stability, security, safety and freedom of navigation and aviation in the East Sea, and resolving disputes by peaceful means in accordance with international law and the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS 1982).
After the talks, Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly Kover Laszlo attended the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly. In the afternoon, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man hosted a banquet in honor of the Hungarian National Assembly Speaker.
