(VOVworld) - Htin Kyaw was sworn in Wednesday as Myanmar’s President, ushering in the first democratically elected government to office after decades of military rule. The new cabinet will take the oath at the Presidential Office in Nay Pyi Taw later on Wednesday.

(VOVworld) - Htin Kyaw was sworn in Wednesday as Myanmar’s President, ushering in the first democratically elected government to office after decades of military rule. The new cabinet will take the oath at the Presidential Office in Nay Pyi Taw later on Wednesday.
12 states nationwide have ratified the appointment of governors and two states, Kachim and Rakhine, will announce their governors soon. All state governors are members of the National League for Democracy party.
