Located in the central province of Quang Nam, the My Son sanctuary is a cluster of 70 Champa temples constructed between the 4th and the 14th century. There are 31 inscriptions and the translation will take time as many of them have been damaged. The Indian government is funding a 5-year project to restore the sanctuary, which was recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site in 1999.
