70 performances will be organized at various places in the capital city, involving 40 Vietnamese, as well as foreign singers and bands. The opening ceremony will be held at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc square in the Old Quarter on October 14.
“The Monsoon Music Festival has been enriching Vietnam’s music over the past several years. This year’s festival will feature young, talented artists from Vietnam and some other countries too. This is a golden opportunity to promote Vietnamese music abroad,” said Quoc Trung, the General Director of the Festival.
Between 2014 and 2019, the Monsoon Music Festival drew more than 220,000 spectators and 300 Vietnamese and international artists including world-renowned bands such as The Scorpions from Germany and Bond from the UK.
