Meeting to review Vietnam's organization and participation in the 10th ASEAN Skills Competition

He acknowledged the results of the Vietnamese team which showed improvement in Vietnam’s vocational training saying that it is a basis for Vietnam to obtain higher achievements in future competitions including next year’s World Skills Competition in Brazil. Mr. Phuc asked the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs to coordinate with other ministries, sectors, and localities to promote Vietnam’s vocational strength to achieve better results. Vietnam hosted the 10th ASEAN Skills Competition from October 19-29 with 25 jobs and the participation of more than 283 competitors, 192 experts, and observers from 10 ASEAN countries.
The Vietnamese delegation won the first prize with 20 gold, 7 silver, and 7 bronze medals and 11 certificates of excellent vocational skills.
