Questions for Industry and Trade Minister Vu Huy Hoang focused on foreign purchases of Vietnamese agricultural materials at low prices, and iron ore exports in small quantities causing exhaustion of natural resources. Hoang also talked about State management responsibility for electricity, petrol, and oil, the use of the petrol and oil price stabilization fund, and the implementation of “Vietnamese use Vietnamese goods” program. Regarding the program to use Vietnamese goods, Minister Hoang said the Ministry of Industry and Trade has worked out a project to develop the domestic market together with this program through 4 solutions: "The first solution is to change awareness and behaviors in the domestic market. The second solution restores people’s pride in using made-in-Vietnam goods. The third is to develop stable distribution channels for Vietnamese goods. The final solution is to frequently promote made-in-Vietnam products so that organizations and individuals can decide what to buy".

In the afternoon session, Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien answered deputies’ questions about ways to deal with the degradation of medical ethics, operations of the healthcare system at district and commune levels, the backlog of centrally-run hospitals, drug prices, and food hygiene and safety.
