Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, Armenia, Iraq and Kuwait on Sunday announced they will close their border with Iran and suspend flights in an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Iran has become the country with most Covid-19 deaths after China.
The Israeli Ministry of Health announced an expansion of its existing travel ban. Beginning Monday, all non-residents or non-citizens who have visited South Korea or Japan in the 14 days before arriving in Israel, will be denied entry. The Ministry said any Israelis returning from Italy, Australia or Taiwan (China) must be tested.
